About
33 years of coming to the door.
Capital Petsitters started in Falls Church in 1993. Patricia Britt has owned it since 2003, and runs it the same way: local sitters, consistent assignments, and a phone that gets answered.

How we work
About forty sitters cover Washington DC, Montgomery County and Northern Virginia. Each one works a small territory near home, which is why the same person can keep showing up for the same pets. Every sitter provides six references, passes a criminal background check and commits to at least six months with us.
We're licensed, bonded and insured. Keys are coded, never labeled. You see a note and photos after every visit.
What we don't do
We don't board, we don't run pack walks, and we don't hand your key to whoever is nearest. That's a smaller business than some, and it's the one we want to run.
We have chosen the window of time and our cat sitter is there within that window each time.
We have used for 20 plus years. Highly recommend.
Great communication, easy scheduling, and love the photos/journal entries we receive after every visit!
